PlanetData supported the creation of the Billion Triple Challenge data set
A PlanetData partner, Andreas Harth (KIT), has supported the 9th Semantic Web Challenge (SWC2011) in providing billions of data set by crawling the web to compile this dataset. The participants of the Billion Triple Track of the Semantic Web Challenge need to use a data set provided by the organizers. This year, this data set consists of 2 billion triples and can be downloaded from the Billion Triple Challenge 2011 Dataset website. The dataset was crawled during May/June 2011 using a random sample of URIs from the BTC 2010 dataset as seed URIs.
